2025:

I was commissioned as one of 10 participants for the Women in Theatre Lab, a development programme that will run over ‘24 - ‘25 and aid the development of anew play, and completed the BBC Writersroom Write Across programme.

2024:

My latest play ‘next door’ was the runner-up in the Woven Voices Prize and received an R&D at the Jermyn Street Theatre.

Previously:

I completed the Royal Court Writers’ Group and the Soho Writers’ Lab. My work has made the Women’s Prize for Playwriting Shortlist, the Bruntwood Longlist, the London Playwrights 2020 and 503Five shortlists. I was one of the 10 shortlisted writers for the inaugural Phoebe Frances Brown Award, and placed in the 2020 Verity Bargate Award top 5%, as well as winning a Text On Stage Award in Belgium.

Several of my short plays have been performed at venues such as Theatre503, Southwark Playhouse, Chiswick Playhouse, The Bunker and the King’s Head Theatre, as well as internationally in Canada, New York and Belgium.

prose

I was selected by Curtis Brown Creative as one of five LGBTQIA+ writers to receive Breakthrough Mentorship from Laura Kay for the development of my debut novel, which also placed on the Grindstone Literary Prize longlist.

I was invited to share my work at STORIE - Birmingham’s premier indie bookshop Voce’s night for Experiments in Prose, where I read an excerpt from leon.

That same short story leon is available online now, you can access it via the link below.
